#24 - The Immense Power Of The Cold Shower

Episode 24 - 2 years ago, I took my first voluntary cold shower and since then, I've had time to learn as much as I can about what they can do for me, I've had time to stop and then start taking them again, and I've had time to push the cold experience much closer to its extremes.

In this episode, I first go over my personal journey and relationship with the cold over the past 2 years, with its ups and downs (it ends well don't worry haha).

Then, I go through all the attributed benefits and what I think about it, as well as the complete list of all the real and concrete advantages and disadvantages for me that I've seen so far.

As mentioned in this episode, on March 29th a video will be released on my YouTube channel that chronicles the last 4 months in which I've been confronting the freezing cold of nature. A video not to be missed 😉

Enjoy your listening! 😃

Hi Eric, I'm contacting you regarding your question about why it's good or not so good to take cold showers or cold baths. Well, from my experience, it's a bit like everything else, if you only take cold showers to feel good, it won't be enough, simply because, even though we're all broken down into little pieces, our social life, our food, our family, our sports, our leisure activities, in short, we are a whole and it's the whole that must be balanced for it to work. If you only have a good diet but you're locked in a box, it won't do anything for me and the same goes for all the other mental techniques, physiological activities, but if we ever manage to balance all our domains, and I mean all these domains, then yes, indeed, for the cold, it's a very important point, because it takes us out of our comfort zone in relation to the physiological.
The thing is that we don't necessarily have the patience or the idea for all the fields and we have blockages or worries.and it's true that selling a technique by saying that it's miraculous is absolutely false, it's only biz if you don't take into account everything else, even though all the people who are precursors and who balance for others are very interesting, but afterwards you have to see what you have to rebalance in order to reach this famous well-being that we are all looking for, this total kif kif kif which is absolutely not easy to obtain
As for the rest, I think you're a very nice guy and I can see that you're making your way like everyone else and especially since I'm a very old man... don't ever stop, keep following your heart and do what makes you happy
if I can advise you one thing it's that breathing is a very very very important thing in addition to all the activities that it's sports challenges life tests in short all the life to know that we are a very very very powerful carcass but which must always be ventilated correctly to be at the maximum of its performances well go I stop there I follow you therefore on your videos I like you as you say the young people and I say to you all soon
ps I add a little thing because I'm listening to your podcast at the same time...when you were sick in 2020 I think your angina in fact it's an elimination of your body of toxins no matter what the disease is it's very very beneficial it's not a mistake of course I mean the body also expresses itself by this mode of saying now stop I must do something that is to say get rid of certain things that bother ....
